Maintenance techniques for bedside tables
May 29,2025
1. Regularly wax the bedside table, only by maintaining it regularly can it be used frequently and kept new.
2. Brewing tea on the bedside table will leave obvious stains overnight. At this point, you can sprinkle some water on the table, wipe it with tin foil from the cigarette box, and then scrub it with water to remove the tea stains.
3. Hot cups, plates, and other items placed indirectly on the paint surface of furniture will leave a circle of burn marks. Simply wipe with a cloth soaked in kerosene, alcohol, floral water, or strong tea, or use iodine to quietly wipe or apply a layer of Vaseline oil on the burn marks; Wipe the burn mark with a cloth every two days to eliminate it.
4. The rattan bedside table will accumulate dirt and discolor over time. It can be cleaned with salt water to remove dirt and make it soft and resilient. Using a damp handkerchief to wipe it regularly can keep it clean.
5. The white bedside table at home is easy to get dirty, so it's not easy to wipe off the dirt with a cloth. You can try squeezing toothpaste onto a clean cloth and quietly wiping it off will remove the dirt on the furniture. Don't use too much force, don't damage the paint surface.
6. When cracks appear on the wooden bed cabinet, old newspapers can be cut into pieces, mixed with excessive alum, boiled into a paste with water or rice soup, and then embedded in the cracks with a small knife and smoothed out. After drying, it will be very sturdy, and then painted with the same color, and the wooden furniture can be restored to its original appearance.
7. If the furniture paintwork is scratched and does not touch the wood, it can be smeared on the wound surface of the furniture with crayons or pigments of the same color as the furniture to cover the exposed background color, and then it can be thinly smeared with transparent nail polish.
8. If the back panel of the bedside table is extensively affected by moisture and deformed, it should be replaced. Furniture must be padded flat on all four feet, otherwise uneven stress will cause deformation. Sliding coat cabinet doors do not need to be equipped with mirrors at will. Mirrors that are too large and heavy will cause the cabinet door to fall and deform into a track.
